All-Day Therapeutics Intensive with Annie: Balance Your Hips and Free Your Spine ALMOST FULL
Limited Capacity seats available

We spend a lot of time sitting in life and “opening our hips” in Yoga. Yet when we think about “hip-opening” poses we could intend at least 4 directions! And like many essential poses, if done well they can be highly beneficial and therapeutic for the hips and low back. However, if practiced with poor alignment, hip-openers can be hard on hips, low back and sacrum. In this day-long you’ll learn how to assess and bring a greater balance of strength and flexibility into this amazing joint structure. We will cover:
*Fundamental Anatomy for Pelvic Girdle, Hip and Lumbo-Sacral regions
*Essential asana practices with emphasis on hip-balancing
*Observe and assess alignment in each of the planes of motion
*Learn clear, direct language for cuing these poses
*Practice effective Hands-on adjustments and Modifications that are appropriate for all levels and ranges of movement.

This workshop will have a break between 12pm-1pm.

Suggested props:  2 straps and 2 blocks
